When is the best time to go through the Cleft Lip and palate surgery?

Treatment of cleft begins within six months after birth with corrective surgery. Primary surgery with the lip repair at about 3 to 4 months and palate repair between 6 and 12 months. Cosmetic surgery on the nose may occur before the child attends school. A corrective rhinoplasty may be performed on the nose in the teenage years.

How much does the whole process cost?

In this regard we can classify the patients into two categories:
A: Free of Cost, for the deserving patients.
B: Cost of medicines and utilities.
The Association classifies after careful investigation.

When and where the camps are held?

The camps are held twice a year for 15 days. The camps are held at:
Bashir Hospital, Railway Road, Gujrat.

What about Pre op and Post op Care?

The Association provides guidance to the parents and patients about the pre op. and post op. care, in their local areas, so that the process is not hindered.

What is the success rate?

Results shown are the same as in England.

Are the Feeding equipments available?
